Convenience store construction
In 2018 and 2019 Harrison Construction remodeled 13 Yes Way stores across West Texas and 11 7-Eleven stores in Florida and Pennsylvania, one store after another with the same team, and a 20,000 sq ft Pilot truck stop in Weatherford. Every store gets the same pre-construction, scheduling, safety and close-out process, in Texas and in the other states where we are licensed.
- New stores
- Store remodels and rebrands
- Multi-location rollouts

Project formats
- New storesfreestanding and in-line stores built to the brand’s prototype.
- Store remodels and rebrandsupdating an operating store in phases, as on the Yes Way and 7-Eleven programs.
- Multi-location rolloutsthe same prototype repeated across cities and states with one team.
- Fuel-site coordinationcoordinating the building with the fuel contractor and the site work where the store has fuel.
Cities: West Texas (Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene, Sweetwater and 9 more towns), Orlando, Winter Park and Minneola in Florida, central Pennsylvania, and the other states where Harrison Construction is licensed.
I would be elated to work with Mr Harrison on future projects as I only expect successful and positive outcomes in large part to the direction and effort that Mr. Harrison brings to the project team.
What this type of project asks for
Prototype drawings
The brand’s prototype is adapted to the site, the local code and the utilities. Constructability review finds the adjustments before permits.
Refrigeration and food service
Walk-in coolers, refrigerated cases and food-service equipment set the electrical and mechanical requirements and often the schedule.
Site and fuel
Where a store has fuel, the building, the canopy and the fuel system are separate scopes that have to be sequenced together.
Rollout consistency
The same reporting, the same close-out package and the same team across locations.

What a landlord, a lender and a franchise brand ask for first, with a ground-up division and a finish-out team under one roof.
Meetings, reports, changes priced first
Regular progress meetings and electronic project reports from the site visit to the punch list. A change is priced and approved before it is built.
